International Smart Grid Ecosystem Training 2025
About Training & Benefits
The International Smart Grid Ecosystem Training (ISGET) 2025 is designed to introduce participants to the global landscape of Smart Grid technologies. More than just theoretical learning, the program emphasizes hands-on practice and company visits to organizations that have already implemented Smart Grid systems—providing participants with direct exposure to real-world applications and operational excellence.
This training marks the first international Smart Grid training ever held in Indonesia. It is the result of a strategic collaboration between the Indonesia Smart Grid Initiative (PJCI), the Human Resource Development Center for Electricity, New and Renewable Energy, and Energy Conservation (PPSDM KEBTKE) under the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (KESDM), and the India Smart Grid Forum (ISGF).
ISGET 2025 demonstrates Indonesia’s strong commitment to developing a more advanced, modern, and intelligent power system. By learning from countries with proven experience in managing large-scale Smart Grid projects—such as India—Indonesia aims to accelerate the transformation of its electricity infrastructure to be more efficient, sustainable, and resilient.
Benefits: Why is this training important?
ISGET 2025 responds to this need by equipping energy professionals, engineers, and policymakers with global perspectives, technical know-how, and strategic insights into Smart Grid deployment.
Additionally, this training serves as a foundational step for the development of the Standar Kompetensi Tenaga Teknik Ketenagalistrikan (SKTTK) in the Smart Grid sector. The official certification—developed by PJCI and to be issued by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources—will help formalize and standardize competencies in this critical field. Participants of ISGET 2025 will also have the opportunity to receive a discount of up to 20% for the upcoming SKTTK Smart Grid certification.
About the Collabolator Perkumpulan Jaringan Cerdas Indonesia (Indonesia Smart Grid Community)
Smart Grid infrastructure possessed a great deal of dependencies towards national electricity grid in which PT PLN (Persero) is the majority owner and the responsible party of such facilities, however, Smart Grid will engage many parties such as Government as the regulator & consumer, Industries, business people or community to participate in the effort of implementing Smart Grid technology in Indonesia as a solution of achieving better utility service from PLN or Government.
Since 2024 PJCI renew its branding be Perkumpulan Jaringan Cerdas Indonesia (PJCI) and or in englih Indonesia Smart Grid Community (ISGC). Along 10 years PJCI actively has held training dozens of times
Pusat Pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia Ketenagalistrikan, Energi Baru, Terbarukan, dan Konservasi Energi (PPSDM KEBTKE) Center for Human Resource Development in Electricity, New and Renewable Energy, and Energy Conservation, MEMR Indonesia
PPSDM KEBTKE is a unit under Indonesia’s Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources. Established in 2002 and transformed into a Public Service Agency (BLU) in 2017, it focuses on improving human resource capacity in the energy sector.
PPSDM KEBTKE offers training, technical certification, energy audits, consultancy, and MICE services. It is nationally accredited, ISO 9001:2015 certified, and has maintained Corruption-Free Zone (WBK) status since
2019.
Supported by expert instructors and 31 certified testing centers (TUK) across Indonesia, it has trained over 44,000 individuals, certified more than 26,000 technical workers.
India Smart Grid Forum
