Jakarta\u2014 Pada <\/span>IEE Series<\/em> 2025 Week<\/em> 2<\/b> yang hadir di <\/span>Electric & Power Indonesia Stage<\/b><\/em> pada tanggal 18 September 2025 di JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta, sesi <\/span>Energy Forum & Talks<\/b><\/em> menghadirkan <\/span>Ricky Cahya Adrian, Vice President Decarbonization<\/em> PT PLN (Persero)<\/b>, yang membawakan tema <\/span>\u201cSynergizing Battery Storage and Hydrogen: Powering Indonesia\u2019s Clean Energy Future\u201d<\/span><\/i>.<\/span><\/p>

Dalam paparannya, Ricky menekankan bahwa transisi energi di Indonesia bergerak semakin cepat, terutama melalui penerapan <\/span>battery energy storage system<\/em> (BESS)<\/b> yang dipadukan dengan teknologi hidrogen. Upaya ini menjadi langkah penting untuk mewujudkan target <\/span>Net Zero Emission<\/em> (NZE) 2060<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>

Dengan rasio elektrifikasi nasional yang telah mencapai <\/span>99,83%<\/b>, kebutuhan listrik bersih semakin meningkat pesat. Hal ini sejalan dengan rencana pembangunan dalam <\/span>RUPTL 2025\u20132034<\/b>, di mana diproyeksikan akan hadir tambahan kapasitas <\/span>75 GW energi terbarukan<\/b> hingga tahun 2040, lengkap dengan dukungan lebih dari <\/span>30 GWh BESS<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>

Proyek percontohan pun mulai terlihat di berbagai daerah, seperti sistem <\/span>solar-plus-BESS<\/b><\/em> di Bali, Sulutgo, Gili Ketapang, Cirata, hingga Ibu Kota Nusantara. Ada juga pembangkit hibrida yang menggabungkan BESS dengan fuel cell<\/em> dan produksi hidrogen, yang berfungsi untuk mengurangi ketergantungan pada genset diesel, menurunkan emisi, serta meningkatkan porsi energi terbarukan pada jaringan listrik di wilayah terpencil.<\/span><\/p>

Ricky menegaskan, <\/span>\u201cIndonesia is driving its clean energy transition by combining battery storage and hydrogen, using BESS to boost renewable integration and grid reliability while leveraging the country\u2019s vast solar and other resources to develop green hydrogen for industry, transport, power generation, and future export, all supporting its Net Zero 2060 target.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/p>

Selain BESS, hidrogen juga dipandang sebagai kunci dekarbonisasi mendalam. Potensi energi terbarukan Indonesia\u2014terutama tenaga surya yang mencapai lebih dari <\/span>3.000 GW<\/b>\u2014menjadikan Indonesia kandidat utama produsen <\/span>green hydrogen<\/b><\/em> di masa depan. Hidrogen ini diperkirakan akan berperan penting dalam dekarbonisasi sektor industri berat, transportasi, hingga perkapalan, sekaligus membuka peluang ekspor.<\/span><\/p>

Langkah awal sudah terlihat melalui inisiatif hidrogen untuk <\/span>EV charger<\/em>, bus, dan truk berbahan bakar hidrogen<\/b>, yang menunjukkan arah baru mobilitas berkelanjutan di Indonesia.<\/span><\/p>
